ASOIAF APPRECIATION BLOG!
Mostly dedicated to the Queens, because the women are the strong ones, truly.
I suck at descriptions -.-
There will be a lot of posts about feelings, because the ones I have left after being emotionally destroyed by GRRM are enormous.

Sansa had done nothing to make the commons hate her, no more than Margaery Tyrell had done to win their love. Does she want me to love her too?

thestarkinwinterfell:

Los Angeles; 1962. Cersei Lannister is an actress and socialite, rising so quickly to fame that she is practically a household name. Hired as a nanny for her three children, Margaery Tyrell is thrilled at the opportunity to take a closer look into the starlet’s glamorous life. But everything is not as it seems. The oldest son is volatile and aggressive, the husband more elusive even than his wife, who comes and goes at odd hours of the day and night. Margaery finds herself caught up in the middle of it, watching with rapt attention as everything falls apart, as Cersei’s brother sneaks from her room half clothed in the mornings, as shadowy men pull up at midnight and open their car doors and whisk her away. There must come a price, she’s sure, for seeing so much and understanding so little. And, pulled taut by fear, when Cersei corners her in the youngest’s room, folding linens and making the bed, Margaery doesn’t run, just lets Cersei run her hands up under her sweater and pretend that she doesn’t feel that touch for hours afterward. It’s a stunning, dangerous game until somebody turns up dead.
Reeling and desperate for answers, Margaery seeks out the one person she thinks can help her: Sansa Stark, Cersei’s previous nanny. There’s just one problem. She’s been missing for months.

Game of Thrones meme ♕ Eight friendships and/or otps ▶ Arya Stark & Jaqen H’ghar (4/8)

thesheikah:

“Nothing gave Arya as much pleasure as ordering Gendry around. ‘As m’lady commands’ was all he ever said to her. That day she was amazed to discover that when he was saying ‘As m’lady commands’, what he meant was, ‘I love you.’ And even more amazing was the day she realized she truly loved him back.”

Sometimes it seemed to her that the Lord Protector was two people. He was Petyr, her protector, warm and funny and gentle… but he was also Littlefinger, the lord she’d known at King’s Landing, smiling slyly and stroking his beard as he whispered in Queen Cersei’s ear. And Littlefinger was no friend of hers. Littlefinger never lifted so much as his little finger for her.
Littlefinger was only a mask he had to wear. Only sometimes Sansa found it hard to tell where the man ended and the mask began. Littlefinger and Lord Petyr looked so very much alike.

Picture you’re the queen of everything
As far as the eye can see
Under your command
I will be your guardian
When all is crumbling
Steady your hand
